m.Smart™ Lift Station Automation Kit

Ready-to-install, with the SmartLift™ application pre-loaded.

Lift Station Control, Out of the Box

The MAK Lift Station kit ships with the SmartLift™ application pre-installed and configured for a duplex pump station with radar level, two 100 A split-core current transformers, and four float inputs. Lead/lag and pump-group rotation logic is included. Each pump can be controlled locally and remotely with individual Auto / Hand / Off modes, and the kit supports contactor or VFD-driven pumps.

The standard kit supports up to two level inputs — the included PulsarQ™ radar plus any combination of floats, rod sensors, or pressure-based sensors. Pump amperage, overload, and power loss are monitored out of the box; phase monitors, generator health, and flow monitoring can be added as needed.

Key Features

  • Pre-installed SmartLift™ App — Lead/lag, group rotation, AHO control, customizable in Python
  • Up to 6 Pumps — Contactor and/or VFD; standard kit ships with 2-pump CTs
  • Redundant Level — PulsarQ™ radar plus floats, rod, or pressure sensor
  • Rich Diagnostics — Power loss, pump amperage, overload, run-time hours
  • 144 W SmartUPS — 110 V AC input, 8+ hours of backup on power loss
  • Enclosure Options — Polycarbonate, stainless steel, or carbon steel NEMA 4
  • Secure Cellular — AES-256 double encryption to Whisker.io®

Controls two pumps that empty a wet well. The lead pump starts when the well rises to the start level and the lag pump joins it if the level keeps climbing; both stop once the well is drawn down. Pumps can rotate the lead role every cycle so they wear evenly. Well level can come from a radar, an analog rod sensor, or four floats, and the station keeps running on a backup source if the primary sensor fails.
