Whisker.io Platform Information

When your organization uses Whisker.io, we process account information for its users (name, email address, mobile phone number, username, role, and alert contact preferences), login and security records, and a record of actions taken in the platform. The platform also stores telemetry and configuration data from your organization’s equipment. That operational data belongs to your organization, and we process it to provide the service.

Site Survey Tool

If you use our Site Survey tool, the address or GPS coordinates you enter are used to look up the location and estimate cellular coverage. We do not use these searches to identify you.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information, including:

• IP address and browser type
• Device and operating system information
• Pages viewed and time spent on our website
• Referring website addresses

3. SMS Text Messaging

If you opt in to receive SMS alerts, we use your mobile phone number only to send the alarm and system notifications described in our SMS Terms. We do not send marketing text messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other categories of sharing in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived. We do not use advertising cookies.

• Odoo: To store contact form submissions and manage customer relationships
• Email service providers: To deliver form notifications to our team and to send account and service emails
• SMS delivery providers: To deliver the text message alerts you have opted in to receive
• Google Analytics: To analyze website traffic and usage patterns
• OpenStreetMap, the U.S. Geological Survey, and Amazon Web Services open data: To provide location search, maps, and terrain data for the Site Survey tool. The address or coordinates you enter, and your IP address, are sent to these services
• Content delivery networks (cdnjs, jsDelivr, and unpkg): To deliver some of the software libraries our pages use. These networks receive your IP address when your browser requests those files

These services may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies for details on their data practices.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf
• Within your organization, where you are a Whisker.io user, according to the roles and permissions your organization sets
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of D6 Labs, our customers, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Whisker.io users can request deletion of their account and personal data on our Delete Account page, which also explains what organization data is retained.
