01 The problem
Lift station overflows are expensive, reportable and usually preventable. Without monitoring, the first sign of a failed pump is raw sewage on the ground.
Lift stations move sewage uphill to the next gravity line or the plant. When a pump fails or power is lost, the wet well keeps filling, and an overflow is expensive, reportable and avoidable.
